 We shall test students on five types of mistakes: grammar, spelling, word order, stylistic (Unit 2.10) and contractions.

From the text book, use the following chapters:

Quesion II: Use our examples of an Intorduction and Conlcusion from the web only. Attention to your grammar, verb tenses in particular and what you have learnt in Chapter 2.10.

Question V: grammar Chapters 3.6, 2.8, 3.10, 3.13, 3.15, pages 93, 95 and 96 plus Units 2.10 and 2.5.

F. Your Language Self-Study

Beside the ones I listed on the board, you should also make sure to have a good command of the langauge points in the book, Sections 3.6, 3.8, 3.9, 3.14, 3.1, 3.5, 3.9, 2.8, 2.3. PLEASE use my Grammar links until the lesson on Comparing and Contrasting lessons.
